When I first fell in love with beautiful spaces and home decor, I dreamed about one day owning a Loloi rug. I’d seen so many beautiful styles of Loloi rugs and as a newlywed and first-time home owner, the budget-friendly price point for a vintage-looking rug felt like a realistic target to aim for.
I can still vividly remember when my first rug from Loloi arrived on our doorstep – the perfect addition to our living room. It was the most beautiful blush pink, with an elegant and timeless print and to this day, remains one of my favourite rugs I’ve ever owned (and my collection has grown significantly since then).
Over the years, that first rug has been used in a number of spaces in our home: the living room, our bedroom, and the guest bedroom, to name a few. And it just works, no matter where it goes.
Well, five Loloi rugs later and it’s safe to say that my love affair with Loloi has held strong. I’m excited to walk you through my honest review of each of our Loloi rugs and also guide you on where to shop for Loloi rugs Canada.

Amber Lewis x Loloi Morgan Collection MOG-04 Sea/Sage
First up is our living room rug (pictured above). This is the newest-to-me rug in my collection and it’s a beautiful one! This is a part of the Amber Lewis x Loloi collaboration and this rug is hands-down the softest one I own.
This rug in particular is made with their new Cloudpile material that is incredibly soft and a bit thicker than any of the other rugs I’ve owned from Loloi. Most of their rugs are printed rather than woven, which allows them to be more durable without sacrificing the vintage-aesthetic that Loloi is known for doing so well.
If you’re looking for an option that is both beautiful and soft underfoot, I’d highly recommend this rug! Also, FYI – I do find it to be more sage/green in real life than how it appears in my photographs, the product photos are a more accurate representation.

Chris Loves Julia x Loloi Jules Collection Area Rug JUL-02 Terracotta/Multi
This was the second Loloi rug we added to our collection and it’s been the perfect addition to our bedroom the last few years. I love the navy blue and blush pink tones and the print.
The Chris Loves Julia x Loloi collab is made up of a whole bunch of beautiful rugs at varying price points and this one is one of my absolute favourites. This classic design with a vintage finish looks great in just about any space. The printed rug technology and low pile make this rug extremely durable and perfect for a high traffic area. I find this print in particular to be especially forgiving when it comes to spills and stains.

Amber Lewis x Loloi Georgie Collection GER-02 Ocean / Sand
This is another rug from the Amber Lewis x Loloi Georgie collection and it’s also a beautiful option! I opted for this one in my home office because I wanted a rug that brought grounding earth tones to the space. I was also looking for one in a more muted colour-way while still having that vintage feel and this totally fits the bill!
If you’re familiar with Amber Lewis (www.instagram.com/amberinteriors/) and her impact on the home decor world, you’ll know that she loves a moody and calming, vintage aesthetic. I find her work to be incredibly inspiring (I love this beautiful coffee table book that highlights some of the spaces she has designed) and was excited to add another one of her rugs to my growing collection!

Chris Loves Julia x Loloi Alice Collection Area Rug ALI-04 Cream / Charcoal
This rug is a bit different than any others in our home with it’s thicker pile and ribbed texture. It’s definitely more of a Moroccan look but without the shedding (a common problem with those style of rugs). The creamy colour and charcoal accents make it a beautiful neutral option.
That being said, if I were to rank the quality of the Loloi rugs I own, this one would come in last. While I do think this rug is incredibly beautiful and the softness and texture are dreamy, it’s the one in my collection that has shown the most wear and tear over the last couple of years.
I’ve noticed the edges are beginning to fray and curl and this style of rug, medium pile and loomed, is just overall less forgiving than some of the other printed styles. Still a beautiful option, but take note of those things depending on which area of your home you’re looking to add a rug.

Loloi II Skye Collection Area Rug SKY-01 Blush/Grey
This is the aforementioned “first Loloi rug” that I wrote about at the start of this article. Five years later, it’s still one of my all-time favourites. I think the blush pink with the mix of blues and greys brings the most stunning softness to any space.
This rug has been through a LOT (more specifically: puppy training and a few spilled glasses of red wine) and it cleans up and hides stains like a dream! It’s lived in basically every room in our home at one point and looks great no matter where it lands.

Other Important Things To Know About Loloi Rugs
- Many of the Loloi rugs are thin (about 1/4 inch thick, except the cloud pile line), which means they work in smaller spaces and you don’t typically need to worry about doors being able to open.
- In my experience, most Loloi rugs are incredibly easy to clean because of the printed styles and the low pile.
- Many of the Loloi rugs are printed, rather than woven. This helps keep the price point down while still giving you that vintage look.
- Loloi rugs are durable (the printed ones, especially).
- You cannot buy Loloi rugs directly from the supplier, you need to go through a seller (I’ve listed those all throughout this post, noting Canada and USA links)
Final Thoughts: Would I Recommend Loloi Rugs?
If you haven’t already gathered my opinion by reading through this post, I want to be clear: I 100% recommend investing in a Loloi rug.
In my experience, the quality is great, they’re on the more budget-friendly side, and they make such a positive impact on any space. I would also describe Loloi rugs as a family-friendly option due to the ease in cleaning and the low-pile designs.
