This post is all about bar cart styling, bar cabinets Canada and bar carts Canada.
Decorating a home can be overwhelming. And learning how to style small areas even more so. But the small spots in our home, such as a bar cart or bar cabinet, are some of the most fun to put together. I’m constantly rearranging these types of spots and playing with different decor. I love to change it up in little ways for each season and the holidays is one of my favourites. Add in a bit of greenery, some bottle brush tees, pretty glassware and you’re good to go!
In this post, I’m going to walk you through how to put together a styled bar cart or bar cabinet so that it looks straight out of a home decor magazine. I’ll share the elements to include, links to the perfect pieces and how to put them together so they actually look good!
By the end of this post, you’ll know everything you need to about bar cart styling.

Decor You’ll Want For Styling
Now let’s chat a bit more about how to style your bar cart. There are some basics that you’ll want to collect. A mix and match of any of the items listed (and linked) below should work.
When I’m styling, I always think in groups. Particularly groups of three. If you look at the photo above where I’ve styled my bar cabinet, you’ll notice this.
How To Actually Style The Pieces
On one side of the cabinet, I have a tray with all of our liquor bottles collected together. Trays are the perfect way to bring some organization when you have a collection of items that could otherwise look messy or cluttered.
If you look to the other side, the “rule of three’s” still proves to be true. I have the wood tray as the base with three different elements (of varying heights): the lamp, the bottle brush trees, and the coupe glasses.
Some other trio combos to try:
- a stack of cocktail books (spine facing out), a decanter, and a candle
- a marble tray, a vase with flowers, and some bar tools
- an acrylic tray, a piece of art leaning against the wall, and wine glasses
- a wood tray, a stack of cookbooks, and cocktail glasses
