Nowadays, many people are working from home, so it’s important to create a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing workspace. A well-designed home office can increase productivity, creativity, and motivation. In this blog post, we will discuss some tips on how to set up an aesthetic home office that inspires you to work efficiently and I’ll share everything you need to create a beautiful home office.
Choosing the Right Colours
Choosing the right colours is crucial when designing a home office. Colours can affect our mood and productivity, so it’s essential to choose a colour palette that suits your personality and work style.
Neutral colours are a popular choice for home offices, as they create a calming and serene environment. Shades of blue and green are also good options, as they promote focus and concentration. However, if you prefer bold and vibrant colours, you can add pops of colour through accessories such as pillows, curtains, or artwork. Ask yourself: how do I want to feel in my home office space? From there, consider the colours that will best create that feeling for you.
I’m often asked what colour my home office is (pictured above) and the colour is Ethereal Mood by Sherwin Williams. In my opinion, it’s the perfect sage green. It’s soft and subtle and brings a warmth to the space.

Furniture Selection
When selecting furniture for your home office, it’s important to choose pieces that are functional and comfortable. A comfortable chair with good back support and adjustable height is essential to prevent back pain and discomfort. A spacious desk with ample storage is also important to keep your workspace organized and clutter-free. You can even consider investing in a standing desk, which can help improve posture and reduce the risk of health problems associated with prolonged sitting.
