I’m not someone who goes all out for seasonal home decor, but I do think it can be nice to add in a few elements that match the feeling of that particular time of year. That being said, I think decorating for fall can move towards kitsch really quick (which is totally fine if that’s your vibe!).
In this fall home decor edit, you’ll find a lot of the colours we see in nature this time of year – brown, beige, burgundy, and orange. I find that looking outside for inspiration in our homes allows the decor to feel timeless and thoughtfully curated. I love to add in a darker coloured throw blanket and throw pillows in rich hues. Sconces for candlesticks (and yummy smelling non-toxic jar candles), a few stems here and there and updated seasonal kitchen essentials. I also love 1 or 2 small pumpkins added into the mix – either a beautiful glass pumpkin or a muted fabric pumpkin.
