Welcome to the first Weekly Roundup post! I decided to start writing these because it will be a nice way to finish out the week and a helpful resource for those who want to follow along with the content being published on the blog but may have missed posts/content shared throughout the week. Those on my email list will get a condensed version of this post so they can browse at their leisure – you can sign up for that here if you’d like to be added to the list (I promise it’s not at all spammy).
I’m not sure about you, but I felt like the week just flew by over here! I always find that once we hit September, the days seem to go ultra-fast and before we know it, the calendar turns to the new year (at which point, things feel like the slow waaaay down). I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on this last part of the year, wanting to be intentional to finish strong and not just write off the last couple of months to start thinking things like “in the new year I’ll do/start/try/make time for…[fill in the blank]”. We still have time right now to pull out those 2021 goals/intentions and check one or two off.
This week I have been busy with blog work – you’ll see lots of gift guides being posted in the days/weeks to come + a ton more lifestyle and wellness related content. I have 8 that I’m working on for all the different people on your lists! I also shot a couple of campaigns this week that I can’t wait to share with you!
Things of Note This Week
+ Taylor Swift released her ‘Red – Taylor’s Version’ today and it will be on constant repeat for the weekend.
+ Currently reading: The Last Thing He Told Me. I’m not far into it yet, but am loving the storyline right from the start. It’s a bit more suspenseful than my last few reads so I’m excited to hopefully get lost in and captivated by this one.
+ Made and loved this soup recipe this week. It was so good I’ll be adding it into the regular rotation for the colder months.
’Tis the season of sales – a few that stood out
+ My favourite source for art prints, Juniper Home Sale, is having their largest sale of the year! 25% off everything site-wide. I always choose the digital print option and then get it printed myself at Costco or London Drugs. A few prints I’m eyeing during this sale – this one, this one, this one, and this one.
+ Sephora Sale – I didn’t do a roundup this time but you can check out the products I love from the last sale, all still stand true. Get 15% off everything site-wide with the code YAYHOLIDAY.
+ This tree skirt I picked up that’s currently on sale!
+ Indigo has all of their Holiday decor on sale for 20% off right now.
