I’m a skincare/makeup lover and am always excited to try new products. However, I’m all about finding products that really work for me and then locking them into the rotation. All of the products I’m going to share here are ones that I use religiously (and have for a long time) and I continue to restock them time and time again.
Skincare
I started using this face wash about a year ago. I like to switch up face washes quite regularly but I’ve come back to this one a few times now. It leaves my skin feeling squeeky clean and I use it both in the morning and before bed. It also takes eye makeup off with no problem which I appreciate.
2 | Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Moisturizer
I got this moisturizer as a sample a while back and used every single bit of product in the container. I will be purchasing this one again during the sale. I have always struggled with dry skin – but particularly since moving to Saskatchewan. This one passes the test. It moisturizes and soothes my skin while also feeling lightweight and not at all oily.
3 | Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil
This night-time oil feels like a luxurious treat. I don’t use this product every night but when my skin is feeling particularly dry and needs some extra love, I put it on before bed and I wake up feeling hydrated. I also think it smells delicious so that’s an added bonus.
4 | Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
This mask is seriously the best. I use this one when a little pick-me-up is needed. It’s hydrating, cooling and really gets in there and softens my skin. I don’t know if I’m supposed to do this but sometimes I sleep with this on and rinse in the morning and it feels amazing.
Makeup
1 | Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
This is one of my “holy grail” products. This concealer covers up everything, evens out my skin tone and lasts all day long. I use the shade “Vanilla”. I highly highly recommend this product if you’re in the market for an amazing concealer!
2 | Nars Ignited Eyeshadow Pallet
I have the mini version of this pallet and it’s become a daily staple. It’s neutral enough that it can be worn every day but there are also some fun shimmer/sparkle shades that you can use when you’re wanting to up your game for a date night or evening out.
3 | Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Another must have. It’s no secret that this is one of the best mascaras around and for good reason. It gives your lashes plenty of volume and fullness. It also does not flake at all – one of my pet peeves is when little flecks from mascara fall onto your face throughout the day. That doesn’t happen with this stuff and it looks fresh from morning till night.
4 | Nars Blush
This is one of two blushes I own and is the one I reach for most days. I have the shade “Orgasm” and think it’s the prettiest pink. It’s natural looking and blends in so well.
5 | Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
I have tried my fair share of brow products and generally been unhappy with the result. As a redhead, it’s incredibly tough to find a brow filler that looks natural and Anastasia Beverly Hills has done such a great job. This is a creamier type of brow product than I had ever used before and I wasn’t sure if I would like it but it goes on so easily, lasts all day and looks natural. If you go with this one, I would highly recommend getting this brush to go along with it.
6 | Nars The Multiple Highlighter
This was the first highlighter I ever tried and I really love it – I have the shade “orgasm”. I wasn’t sure if I would like wearing highlighter on a daily basis but I’m all about that glow and am officially a believer.
I have this lipstick in a couple of shades but my favourite one is the shade “Safe Word”. It’s a neutral nude-pink in a creamy matte and it seriously matches everything. I sometimes find matte lipsticks dry my lips out but this one does the opposite and feels moisturizing.
